My grandson has a very wide foot and he walks with one foot turned in slightly; so It's hard to find slippers that stay on his feet without turning. He wears a 7 1/2 xw shoe and I got these in the 8 1/2 to 10, so they'd last through the winter. I got a really good buy on them and I wish I'd gotten 1/2 doz in different sizes. They are soft soled (rather than rubber bottoms) but have little non slip things on the bottom, like those non slip socks. There is just enough padding on the foot bed to be comfortable and they are sooo soft. If they make them in grownup sizes, I'm going to get myself some. They are the best slippers I've ever gotten him and believe me, I've gotten him a lot and for a lot more money. These are wonderful! -- LOVE these little slippers
